Arlene Black Mollo is Professor Emerita at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth where, for twenty-five years, she taught in the graduate and undergraduate programs in art education at the College of Visual & Performing Arts. She earned a Ph.D. in Law, Policy and Society from Northeastern University, with a concentration in arts and cultural policy. She also earned a master's degree in art education from the Massachusetts College of Art, Boston as well as a bachelor's degree, with distinction, in fine art from Emmanuel College, Boston. Currently, she maintains a studio on Cape Cod where she creates watercolors, both naturalistic and abstract, that are centered on landscapes, nature, global climate change, bio-diversity and ocean life.
